The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) will meet on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 10 a.m.

The meeting will begin with reports from the Commission’s advisory committees. Commissioners are also reviewing applicants for open positions on three advisory committees. Applications are due August 14, 2026. Appointments will be made at the November 9, 2026, TREC meeting with service beginning on January 1, 2027.

Commissioners will also consider several proposed rule amendments, including changes related to broker responsibility, qualifying and continuing education requirements, and the Standards of Practice for Texas real estate inspectors.

Additional agenda items include updates on agency operations and initiatives, the fiscal year 2027 draft budget and related financial policies, internal audit matters, approval of the Broker Responsibility Course text for 2027–2028, and discussion of topics for the upcoming November workshop.
