Fulfill Your Requirements

Create a REALM Portal Account

Follow the instructions to set up your Real Estate and Appraiser License Management Portal account.

Tips for Success

  • Have all of your documentation available and upload it at the time of application. Refer to the links above to see what is required for each real estate license type. For example, first-time sales agents should upload their six prelicensing certificates in the REALM Portal with their application for faster processing.
  • Understand the application timeline. Expect it to take up to four weeks for us to review your application and to receive an exam authorization. This includes time for you to provide additional information.

How To Check Your Application Status

You can check the status of your application at any time in the REALM Portal:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to Home > My Records.
  3. Click the blue link for your application.

Under Processing Status, you will see a list of items required for licensure:

  • Green checkmark means the item is complete and cleared.
  • Hourglass means TREC is still processing the item or waiting to receive information (such as exam results or fingerprint records).
