CE Provider Re-Approval
Re-Approval of Real Estate and Inspector Elective Continuing Education Providers
Continuing Education (CE) Providers are approved for a two-year term. Re-approval or subsequent approval as a CE provider is subject to the same standards as initial approval.
- File a completed Continuing Education Provider Application within 90 days of your expiration date.
- Pay the required fee.
Re-Approval of Real Estate and Inspector Elective Continuing Education (CE) Courses
Elective CE courses are approved for a two-year term. Approved CE providers may submit a new Real Estate CE Course Application or Inspector CE Course Application 90 days prior to the course expiration date. Re-approval is based upon the current standards for initial approval and the application must include all requested materials. If the current course approval has expired, you may not offer the course again until you have received a new course approval letter.
Re-Approval of Real Estate Non-Elective CE Courses (Legal Update I & II and the Broker Responsibility Course)
The subject matter and materials for the real estate non-elective CE courses are revised every two years. Legal Update I & II expire on December 31st of every odd-numbered year. The Broker Responsibility course expires on December 31st of every even-numbered year. Approved CE providers may submit a new Real Estate Non-Elective CE Course Application 90 days prior to the course expiration date. Revised student manuals will be published to the TREC website. Approved CE providers may request a copy of the instructor manual by email.
