The Texas Real Estate Commission regulates the sale of timeshare interests in Texas. A timeshare registration needs to be renewed every two years and can be amended at any time.

You can begin an application to renew or amend a registration using your Real Estate and Appraiser License Management Portal account.

  • After you log in, locate the registration that you wish to amend or renew by clicking Licenses on the landing page of the REALM Portal. Confirm the contract information is current.
  • You will need to upload the required documents listed before you can proceed.
  • Sign the application electronically, and pay the required filing fee by credit card. You must also pay the 3% convenience fee required by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR).

After your application and required fees are submitted and accepted by TREC, we will review the application materials and will communicate with the Contact Person via email as soon as reasonably possible if the application has been completed or if changes or additional information are needed.

A renewal or amendment application will be considered void if the required documents or additional information requested by TREC are not received within 60 days after the request. Please contact us at 512-936-3005 or email if you have any questions.
