22 TAC §543.13, Renewal of Registration

The amendments to Chapter 543 are made as a result of: (i) the Commission’s quadrennial rule review; and (ii) the agency’s license management system project.  

A clarifying change is made to the time periods referenced in §543.13 to simplify and make consistent the calculation of the relevant time period. 

Because of the license management system project, users will be able to provide more information and make payment to the agency utilizing an online process, rather than by submitting a paper form or check.

22 TAC §543.6, Violations

The amendments to Chapter 543 are made as a result of: (i) the Commission’s quadrennial rule review; and (ii) the agency’s license management system project.  

A clarifying change is made to the time periods referenced in 543.6 to simplify and make consistent the calculation of the relevant time period. 

22 TAC §543.4, Fees

The amendments to Chapter 543 are made as a result of: (i) the Commission’s quadrennial rule review; and (ii) the agency’s license management system project.  

A new subsection (g) is added to §543.4 to provide notice that when submitting online payment, the Commission may collect a subscription or convenience fee required by the Texas Department of Information Resources.

22 TAC §543.3, Amendments

The amendments to Chapter 543 are made as a result of: (i) the Commission’s quadrennial rule review; and (ii) the agency’s license management system project.  

Because of the license management system project, users will be able to provide more information and make payment to the agency utilizing an online process, rather than by submitting a paper form or check.  As a result, the rule language is clarified to reflect this change.

The amendments to Chapter 543 are made as a result of: (i) the Commission’s quadrennial rule review; and (ii) the agency’s license management system project.

22 TAC §537.65, Standard Contract Form TREC No. 58-0, Notice to Prospective Buyer

The amendments to Chapter 537 and the forms adopted by reference are made as a result of the Commission’s quadrennial rule review. The changes update or correct form reference numbering.

Las enmiendas al Capítulo 537 y los formularios adoptados por referencia se realizan como resultado de la revisión cuatrienal de las normas de la Comisión. Los cambios actualizan o corrigen la numeración de la referencia del formulario.

22 TAC §537.64, Standard Contract Form TREC No. 57-0, Non-Realty Items Addendum

The amendments to Chapter 537 and the forms adopted by reference are made as a result of the Commission’s quadrennial rule review. The changes update or correct form reference numbering.

Las enmiendas al Capítulo 537 y los formularios adoptados por referencia se realizan como resultado de la revisión cuatrienal de las normas de la Comisión. Los cambios actualizan o corrigen la numeración de la referencia del formulario.

22 TAC §535.72, Approval of Non-elective Continuing Education Courses

The amendments to §535.72(g)(3)(B) remove the proctoring requirement for inspector non-elective continuing education course examinations for distance education delivery and make clarifying changes for rule consistency. The change was recommended out of concerns that: (i) the exam proctoring requirement was unnecessary; and (ii) the requirements generally are overly burdensome.  The changes to §535.72(h)(1) are made as a result of the agency’s license management system project.

22 TAC §535.70, Definitions

The amendment to §535.70 removes the definition of “proctor.” The change was recommended out of concerns that: (i) the exam proctoring requirement was unnecessary; and (ii) the requirements generally are overly burdensome.

La enmienda a §535.70 elimina la definición de “supervisor”. El cambio se recomendó debido a la preocupación de que: (i) el requisito de supervisión del examen era innecesario; y (ii) los requisitos son generalmente excesivamente complicados.
