The updated Information About Brokerage Services (IABS 1-2) is required for use as of January 1, 2026.

The changes to the IABS notice are due to Senate Bill 1968, effective January 1, 2026, which adds to The Real Estate License Act (TRELA) a non-representation status and written agreement requirements for certain situations.

The language in the IABS notice has been updated to reflect these changes, and the description of the contact information has been revised to align with current terminology.

Finally, the changes remove references to subagency, as it is eliminated from TRELA under Senate Bill 1968.

You are not required to (although you may) add your license suffix to the IABS form, in your advertising, or on contracts. The suffix is related to REALM Portal data and not an official change to your license number.
