Are you a Delegated Supervisor?
Submitted by Christine Anderson on Fri, 2021-01-22 15:56Yes, if the sponsoring broker has delegated to you in writing the responsibility to assist the broker in complying with the Real Estate License Act and Commission rules. A license holder who leads, supervises, directs, or manages a team must also be delegated as a supervisor. A delegated supervisor may be either a sales agent or broker.
Print License History On Demand

2020 Census, What You Need to Know
Submitted by Christine Anderson on Mon, 2020-07-13 11:51Did you know the data collected from the census is used all around you? For Texas to get an accurate level of funding and representation in the future, all Texans should fill out a survey.
The US constitution requires a census to be conducted every ten years to count everyone living. After each census, the information is used for the following:
TREC Processing Dates
There are delays processing applications because of integrations between the REALM Portal with our exam vendor and DPS fingerprinting. We are actively working on a fix for these problems and aiming for a implementation very soon. Once resolved, we should be able to process many of the applications that have been held up, unless there is an issue with your background check.

TREC is Open for Business

In the midst of this crisis, the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) has worked to ensure continued service to license holders and the public while protecting our employees. As a result, our physical offices in Austin are closed to the public, and staff and operations have transitioned to working remotely.

A Closer Look at the 2019 Legislative Session

While the Agency’s primary focus this session was on our Sunset legislation, we did keep our eye on the progress of several bills that could have impacted the Agency in one way or another.
