Welcome to the TREC Relationship Management Tool User Guide. This tool allows both sales agents and brokers to easily manage their relationships, online, without delay. This User Guide provides an in-depth understanding of how the tool works, as well as easy to understand, step by step instructions.

STEP 1 REGISTRATION 

• If you are a current license agent and have not already registered, you must first register with “My License Services”. It is recommended that you register with your personal email address.

Regardless of the nature of your real estate concern ― whether it’s an issue with a financial institution or a property tax concern― there are a number of agencies that are looking out for your best interest. If your issue is not under the jurisdiction of TREC, one of the resources below may be able to help. Our license holders are governed by the The Real Estate License Act, the Inspector Act, and the Timeshar

Yearly and quarterly reports about the operation, management and performance of the agency are available for your review. Everything from the agency's strategic plan to reports on customer service, annual financials, and internal audits are available. Reports older than the current fiscal year not listed below are may be available upon request.

The Texas Public Information Act was adopted to give the public greater access to information about how the state conducts the public's business. Any person can request public records and an officer or agency may not ask why it’s requested. 

TREC has two funds to help reimburse consumers who suffer damages caused by TREC license holders: the Real Estate Recovery Trust Account and the Real Estate Inspection Recovery Fund. Each recovery fund has different filing requirements and payment limits.
