To ensure consistency in reporting, inspectors licensed by TREC are required to use the Standard Inspection Report Form (REI 7-6) to report observed deficiencies and other items required by the SOPs.

A real estate inspector is a person who is licensed to perform an inspection of a property that is the subject of a real estate transaction.
Any person applying for or renewing a license with TREC must provide fingerprints for a criminal history check. The fingerprint process is easy and can be done in a few short steps.
When applying for your license, you will automatically be authorized for a fingerprinting appointment; please check your email for further instructions. Previously registered users can access the Fingerprint Enrollment tool within the REALM Portal application area.
