AUSTIN, TX – The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael Molloy to Director of Standards and Enforcement Services (SES), beginning May 18, 2020.  

Mike has practiced law in Texas since 2003 and has over fifteen years of experience in real estate law.  He has proudly worked as a staff attorney at TREC for eleven years, serving as a team leader for the Houston region and the attorney liaison to the TREC Inspector Committee.   

Before joining TREC, he worked in the title industry and as a private practice attorney.  Mike received his undergraduate degree from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio and received his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. 

TREC SES administers complaint investigation and disciplinary enforcement programs. TREC SES staff also implements standards and reviews applications for licensure and fitness determinations to assess the honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness of applicants.
