If you have been made a supervisor by your broker, are a broker who sponsors sales agents, or are a designated broker for a business entity that sponsors sales agents, you must take the 6-hour Broker Responsibility Course as part of your 18 hours of CE.

You must complete 18 hours of approved Continuing Education (CE) courses, including 4 hours of TREC Legal Update I, 4 hours of TREC Legal Update II, and 3 hours of contract-related coursework.
If you sponsor sales agents, are a designated broker for a business entity that sponsors sales agents, or if you have been made a supervisor by your broker, your CE must also include the 6-hour Broker Responsibility course.
You must complete 270 hours of approved Sales Agent Apprentice (SAE) courses, 4 hours of TREC Legal Update I and 4 hours of TREC Legal Update II to renew.
If you have been made a supervisor by your broker, you must also take the 6-hour Broker Responsibility course to renew.

in Active Status. Complete your CE before your license expiration date
to avoid additional fees. Paying the CE deferral fee before your expiration date allows you to renew your
license in Active Status and gives you until {{InactiveDate}} to complete your education. If you wish to renew your
license in Inactive Status, you are not required to complete CE.

be completed and the CE deferral fee paid before you can renew your license in Active Status. If you wish
to renew your license in Inactive Status, you are not required to complete CE.
Your license renewal included the CE deferral fee which allows you to remain Active and gives you an additional
60 days to complete your CE. If the required CE is not completed on or before
09/30/2020,

your license will be placed on Inactive Status.
Sales Agent Apprentice education must be completed to renew your license. You must have a total of 270 qualifying real
estate course hours, 4 hours of TREC Legal Update I and 4 hours of TREC Legal Update II completed prior to renewing your
license whether you are renewing active or inactive. If you have been made a supervisor by your broker, you must also
take the 6-hour Broker Responsibility Course to renew. You may not defer SAE requirements. Your license will not be
renewed until you complete the required education.

agents renewing for the first time.
