Agenda Item 1 Call to Order
ACTION: Chair Brown called the meeting to order at 10:01 a.m.

Agenda Item 2 Welcome and remarks from the Chair

Agenda Item 4 Update regarding BRWG recommendations at February 14, 2023, TREC Workshop as follows:
a. Property Management registration and additional education requirements
b. Broker Responsibility Course requirement for broker license and renewal
c. Notice to brokerage of broker associate complaint
d. Broker associate affiliation on TREC website
Agenda Item 5 Discussion and possible action regarding 22 TAC §535.2, Broker Responsibility
ACTION: Ty Williams, seconded by Pam Titzell, moved to recommend adoption to the full Commission. The motion was adopted by unanimous vote.
Agenda Item 6 Discussion and possible action regarding 22 TAC §535.157, Obligation to Respond Timely
ACTION: Ty Williams, seconded by Pam Titzell, moved to recommend adoption to the full Commission. The motion was adopted by unanimous vote.
Agenda Item 7 Discussion and possible action regarding the difference between a broker and sponsoring broker
No action taken. The working group previously made a recommendation to require all sales agents take the Broker Responsibility course prior to their application for a broker license and all brokers take the Broker Responsibility course before each renewal. This recommendation is being considered for the 2025 Legislative Session. Staff noted that the writing group can focus on including items related to sponsoring brokers as needed. In addition, staff can send messaging to education providers to consider broker sponsorship as a course that they could create based on the recent discussions in ESAC and BRWG.
Agenda Item 8 Discussion and possible action regarding future agenda items and meeting dates

The committee requested the following item be added to the next meeting agenda:
