Job Summary:

Performs highly complex (senior-level) training and quality assurance work. Work involves coordinating, developing, evaluating, and conducting training sessions using a variety of training methods. Work also involves coordinating the planning, development, and administration of internal quality assurance and compliance activities. May assist business process manager with testing ITS projects, communicating process changes to staff, and managing website, form, and letter changes. May assist team lead in supervising work and providing guidance to others. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Minimum Education:

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to the assignment is generally preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one another.

Experience:

Experience in a field related to the agency program.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of general business procedures and use of standard office equipment
  • Knowledge of training procedures and techniques; of learning management and learning content management systems; of group processes, group dynamics, and interpersonal relations; and of instructional design and curriculum development.
  • Skill in oral and written communication, in instructing others, in facilitating workshops, and in using a computer and applicable software.
  • Skill in operating a personal computer with word processing, database, and spreadsheet software
  • Ability to communicate effectively and adapt successfully to change
  • Ability to formulate learning objectives, to develop training objectives, to assess the effectiveness of training, to assess training needs, to communicate effectively, to identify problems and develop solutions, and to serve as team lead providing guidance to others.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in conducting training.
  • Experience in performing quality assurance work
  • Experience delivering virtual/live training events via Microsoft Teams or Webex
  • Experience training Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
Job Duties:

On-the-job training will be provided to establish a general knowledge of licensure requirements, agency functions, and division procedures.

  • Develops curriculum, course outlines, instructional methods, training aids, manuals, and/or other materials and products.
  • Evaluates and analyzes staff training needs and effectiveness of training.
  • Research, develop, review and evaluate training programs and materials, and recommends modifications as appropriate.
  • Delivering training in a classroom and e-learning environment.
  • Formulates and develops plans, procedures, and programs to meet specific training needs.
  • May facilitate workshops, meetings and/or presentations with the team to highlight skill topics.
  • Assist in creating, coordinating, and implementing quality assurance programs for the licensing division.
  • Develop and conduct staff training as new program policies and procedures are implemented or licensing system enhancements and configuration changes are made
  • Compiles data and prepares reports.
  • May assist business process manager with testing licensing system changes, communicating process changes to staff, and managing website, form, and letter changes.
  • May serve as team lead providing guidance to others.
  • Attend work regularly and observe approved work hours in accordance with agency/division leave and attendance policies
  • Ability to work in a virtual self-management/self-motivated environment
  • Ability to grasp and retain new information quickly and efficiently
  • Maintains home office that is noise and distraction free
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products, preferably Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Environmental & Physical Conditions:   Normal office work environment, mostly sedentary in nature. May involve walking; standing; remaining stationary for long periods of time; pulling and pushing; kneeling, stooping and bending; and safely lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds. Work involves extensive telephone usage and repetitive hand/wrist/finger motions while using the computer.
