While we do not condone the described behavior of the License Holder, unless the comment or action involves discrimination in a real estate transaction, the Commission does not have jurisdiction to take action against a License Holder for these types of actions or comments on social media.  Many social media companies and platforms have community standards or terms of use policies, that can be consulted regarding these types of comments or posts.  If the comments are directed towards you, you may wish to consult a private attorney for legal advice regarding your rights and remedies.   The Commission does have jurisdiction to open a complaint that alleges a License Holder discriminated against an owner, potential buyer, landlord, or potential tenant on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, or ancestry.
