DeLora Wilkinson of Houston was appointed to the Texas Real Estate Commission as a Broker Member by the Honorable Governor Greg Abbott in 2017 for a term ending in 2023.
DeLora’s distinguished real estate career spans more than 40 years and includes sales and executive management responsibilities.
DeLora was President of the Houston Association of REALTORS® in 1986, and has proudly served on the Boards of Directors of the National Association and Texas Association of REALTORS® several terms. She will again serve on the NAR Board of Directors in 2020. As a TREC Commissioner, DeLora is the current Commission liaison to the Education Standards Advisory Committee.
In addition to her successful real estate career, DeLora has contributed to the community in many leadership roles which include education, economic development, and the arts. She is former Chairman of the Northwest Chamber of Commerce where she continues to serve on the “Grow Northwest Committee”. She was the Founding President of the Foundation for the Arts and Cultural Enhancement (FACE). She also served as treasurer of the Texas Independent College Fund Board of Directors from 1997 to 2004. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of The ARK Group (Adults Relating to Kids).
Some of the honors bestowed on DeLora include Houston REALTOR® of the Year from the Houston Association of REALTORS®, as well as the John E Wolf Citizenship Award, The National Association of REALTORS® “Omega Tau Rho” Award, 40 year Emeritus Honor from the National Association of REALTORS® and Citizen of the Year Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce.
DeLora holds the CRB and GRI real estate designations.
