A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university satisfies all of the "related" education requirements for a salesperson or broker license. A bachelor's degree does not satisfy the required "core" courses.
Effective September 1, 2012, real estate related education courses may no longer be used to satisfy education requirements for a salesperson license. Only specific core courses will be acceptable for this purpose. A broker applicant may use a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university to satisfy all of the “related” education requirements for a broker license or a broker applicant may use “related” courses towards the broker license education requirements. A bachelor’s degree does not satisfy the required “core” courses.
